Chateau de Béduer

Last week I felt like the luckiest photographer/girl in the world! I had the pleasure of photographing Michael and Roz's romantic wedding set at Roz's family summer house the 12th Century Chateau de Béduer, in the South of France. I hadn't realised how loosely the term Chateau was thrown around to describe homes such as large farmhouses in France. How wrong one can be! When I arrived I was blown away to find the most beautiful Chateau set high on a hill overlooking the quaint village of Béduer and the breath taking Célé Valley.

This rare and unique opportunity of residing at this historic Chateau has recharged my batteries and I have never felt so relaxed. The rows of old lime trees set amongst the sweeping lush green lawns, the pretty, old and traditional stone farmhouses, which are found inside the chateau park enchanted the eye . Each morning I would rush towards my bedroom window and gasp at the view. I often pinched myself to ensure the moment was real. I'm hoping that these images have done the Chateau justice. Here is also a small selection of images from the wedding day .

Hey Shones , What a place !!! FAR OUT !!! I can understand why you rushed to the window in the mornings :-)
You have worked the light well, I adore the pic of the big trees and green garden and the soft light folding across the image.
Well done too babes, you're writing is lovely. So glad you are happy and relaxed, enjoy the moment and smell the roses as we do, Kezzo x
